| Welcome back! 2009 was a fantastic year for Cozee's. We surpassed our goal and the new goal set for 2010 is 400! Due to vehicle problems, I was unable to deliver all the donations prior to Christmas. The remaining donations will all be delivered this month. I will list the recipients this month. The recipients who have received donations so far have LOVED them. Many received the Avon products along with a lapghan or capelet or tote, etc. and they so deeply appreciated it. Now that I'm on my own with my daughter, finances are severely limited and the van can not be fixed, so that leaves me without a way to get around. I'm working on getting some help to get the remaining donations delivered. I've got some leads on getting help to purchase a wheelchair accessible van so send a prayer out that we get the help we so badly need. The van I currently have could never be retrofitted for a lift and because of that I had to lift my 15 year old into it myself! It's been extremely difficult these last few months but I'm forever hopeful that good things will come this year. I apologize for getting the site back up and functioning so late! Just so much going on at one time. I've revamped it a little and eliminated some things, but it's still about the same. I'll be tweaking it this month yet. So, please be patient! I've got tons of emails to answer and will do that today! Happy 2010 to each and everyone of you! |

| Deliveries have been made to Hills and Dales and the remaining donations will be delivered next week. They were so grateful to get the donations! They also made a request that what is also really needed is hats, scarves and mittens for the 2010 winter season. Mary H. already made 37 hats! Outstanding job Mary. Mittens tend to be the most difficult for them to get so anyone out there who can make mittens, either knitted, crocheted or sewn from fleece here is a challenge! I'm looking for a fleece pattern for mittens so if anyone has one, please let me know. Please, no gloves. Mittens keep the hands warmer and are so much easier to get on and off, especially for kids who have difficulties with their hands. I struggle hard to get gloves on Elena, so it's mittens all the way for her too! Sizes needed range from children small to adult large (for the teens). Along with lapghans this year, I'm getting busy with hat/scarf/mitten sets. To have matching sets would be so nice. |
